*** moved temporarily for the My Personal Nightmare contest - [link] VERSION II - [link] I fumbled blindly through the darkness the shadows taking over me my breath coming slower a slow coldness sweeping over me I reached out a hand attempting to grasp anything anything to keep me upright but my fingers met with nothing an emptiness was at my fingertips and I fell I fell to the ground and closed my eyes the darkness consuming me entirely and it was a still night a silent night outside the night, I died. Photographs and above writing are mine CommentsExcellent integration of the hallway photo with the hands! It illustrates perfectly what you have written. And to be honest it gives me chills. Very effective combination of words and picture.

It is lovely how you tell a story just with the hands.
I really also like the dark mood in the images, it really adds to it, and gives the viewer a darker feeling. One thing I dislike is the flash on the hand in the first and second image, it is pretty much too harsh, it would look a lot better with a softer light, which doesn't take away all the details.
Also I am not sure about the angle from which the main image was taken, maybe it could have been lowered a bit. Not from the ground like the last image, but more from a middle point probably.
I love the composition (and by that I mean the way you put those little picture on the right), but I'm not sure about the quality of the pictures.. The bluriness adds something to it, but there's something awkward that bugs my mind a little.
However, the angle on the last shot with the red tint of the model's hand truly expresses something powerful even though it's the end. Overall, that's a nice piece, but you should work a little more on the concept itself.
