    I wish I could have shot this over a lake or field, but alas.
    I also don't like the uneven buildings/trees in the bottom left.

Extremely beautiful shot. The small part which shows the city somehow harmonizes the picture, it's something like the sky touching the ground, the balance between these two parts. The golden color of the sun tinted the clouds in an absolutely stunning way, and in the horizon we see the fiery color of the sun, mixing with the gray clouds in a beautiful gradient. The closer clouds don't receive so much sunlight, and the big contrast is beautiful between the warm gold (or orange, maybe...) and the emotionless gray. It's an exciting picture, because of it's beauty, meanwhile it's also calm and romantic; the sunset is one of the most beautiful views we have in a day, especially when it tints the whole sky with its wonderful colors.
Incredible picture, I'd say. Beautiful colors, really good texture of the clouds, good place to take the picture and a big focus on the sky but not letting the city disappear.

Beautiful~

Sunsets with brilliant colors like this picture shows are my favorite, I just don't know why. :)

And, like so many other people have said before me, it's just an amazing shot that looks terrific.

the black surrounding the sunset and the silhouetted buildings work to frame the sunset which is already the focal point
